CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH HISTORY
Christ Lutheran Church-Lake Mills was born as a mission plant from Faith Lutheran Church in Watertown, WI. As the church of God grew, a small number of families began to worship together in the auditorium of Lake Mills Public High, and "Christ" was founded on February 6, 1996 and formally organized December 31 of that year. A few short years later, the members of Christ purchased the current land and building, which had a history of its own... The current building was originally a country church located in the town of Milford, WI. During the 1950's the building was picked off its foundation and transported to Lake Mills. During the building's rich history, it has been home to Lake Mills' Baptist congregation, Trinity Lutheran ELCA congregation, and even a private homeowner! On September 24, 2000, Christ Lutheran Church officially became a chartered member of the English District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Former pastors of Christ have been:
